 A trip down memory short track lane of the Woodchoppers driven by Bugs Stevens art print from an original watercolor painting by the Artist, William B. MacGregor Jr., who is known in the New England area as the Junkyard Artist.

Bugs Stevens won many races in the New England area driving the #15  1936 Chevrolet Coupe and later the #15 Ford Pinto.  These cars were driven by Bugs Stevens and owned by Sonny Kozella and were known as the Woodchoppers.

 The Woodchoppers are displayed in the ProNyne Motorsports Museum in Pawtucket Rhode Island.

Artist Statement

My painting technique incorporates “old skool” mechanical and civil drafting techniques including ruling pens, Leroy, inking the drawing and then completing it using watercolors, acrylics and gouache.  Originals and prints of my watercolors are now part of private collections throughout the United States, and foreign countries.
