This plaque comes with no hole for hanging or stand for standing, is designed for being positioned horizontally. Also, due to the supplier you will find a small circle sponge on the back of each corner.
Please note that slate is a natural product and may contain small areas of gold, natural flaws such as riven areas, hairline veins etc. Being a natural stone product it may have sharp or chipped edges/corners and imperfections which will make them look more rustic and does not have a smooth shiny finish.
The memorial plaques are made of slate which is a natural product.
As we are using engraving technology and not printing, the engraving does not change over time. It is a cutting/slightly digging into the texture of the material/slate until it changes the colour.
The product has been sealed and created for outdoor. We were expecting it to be exposed to hot and cold weather, including UV and rain.
We are proud to say that it has passed the burning test with no change into the colours or design. Therfore, picture can't look worn.
However, slate absorbs water. Rain can make the writing look faded when gets wet.
It just requires a few minutes to get dry in order to look as in the first day.
We suggest to not consider rubbing with a hard surface or getting in contact with oily/greasy/sticky textures.
Slate is a natural product and it absorbs fluids. If is water, no change will apply to the engraving. Unfortunately if is oily/greasy/sticky fluid, that will leave marks/spots on the engraving.
How to send your engraving Requirements:
We engrave EXACTLY as you have asked for, including UPPER and lower case, punctuation and grammar.
Name: Date: Message (up to 7 lines of text with max 7 words per line): Please attach the picture in the 'Contact seller' section.
Please note that you don't need to crop the picture as that may affect the processing part.
We may need to cut the picture in order to fit in. Please mention if you would like to keep the entire picture, otherwise we crop only the top part of your beloved.
We do not do photo editing, so we can not take off the background or other elements from pictures.
Kindly please, do not send picture or any other details/requests on email unless we ask you to do so. Instead please use the contact seller section.
Please note if picture is poor quality, results will be seen in engraving. The more black/ dark colors in the picture, the faded engraving will look due to the slate being black. We recommend high resolution and good contrast coloyred pictures to be sent for the best results.
If no message is required, we will not engrave any.
The plaque will come with the design/fonts as in the picture shown.
We can't engrave emoticons, small hearts or any small images added to the message.
If lines are too long, we will split them so the message can be read.
After you make your purchase, please send an eBay message (press contact seller button) with your requirements. Please do not send your engraving details through PayPal notes or note to seller as these do not always come through.
