If you would prefer not to drill our handrail brackets directly into the wall, we would recommend using hardwood mounts which are available in our eBay Store.
Measuring
When measuring for your bannister we advise having a bracket every 1 metre. We will secure the first and last bracket behind each knot and leave the other brackets free for you to fit in your desired locations. If your staircase has a corner we would recommend have a fitting 150mm from each side of the corner.
Drape
For a slight drape add 5% to your overall length. For a larger drape add 10% to your overall length.
