This is WW2 'TONY' Army Type 3 Fighter HIEN Model-1 Ki-61 18th 1/48 Marushin In stock.
Hien was the only Japanese fighter to have a liquid-radiated engine,
and was officially used by the imperial Army from 1943.
The aircraft was unable to mark any significant battle records,
due to the lack of performance of its engine,
type "Ha-40" (Licensed model of German engine DB601A).
But, because of its elegant design, this aircraft facinates many of its fans.
This product is modeled based on data of an aircraft belonging to the 18th squadron,Chofu base (Tokyo).
Quick to assemble! Just mount the wings on the fuselage with screws and insert the landing gears and small parts.
Total weight of 500g provides high quality feeling and massiveness. Major parts are all zinc die-casted.
Superbly painted! High quality, printed markings.
Landing gears come in 2 positions, landing and retracted.
Drop tank for auxiliary fuels can be taken off and placed back again!
