Early 20th century silver band ring from Southern Ethiopia. It has a minimalist, almost industrial aesthetic that doesn't appear very often in African antiques. The ring is unisex and looks wonderful worn stacked. It is in excellent condition given its age and origin. There are slight irregularities to the interior surface which show tarnishing (see photos), they do not affect the smoothness or comfort of the ring.  These silver rings are increasingly difficult to source and each piece is unique. The last photo shows how it can look to wear these rings stacked - not the item listed for sale.

All items are 100% authentic and have been previously worn, often in a traditional environment. Every effort has been made to describe any significant flaws in both words and pictures in the listings however a certain amount of wear should always be expected. Handmade items should also be expected to contain irregularities which I believe adds to their character and does not detract in any way from their quality.
