Vacuum Pump Kit
This listing is for a basic set of 3 OE original standard seals for the including the pumps main body gasket, cylinder head to pump gasket and the vacuum pipe port gasket.
These are made from the same material that Mini fitted in the factory and as such will age in the same way and have the same limited life span. Most leaks happen within 5 - 10 years and that is what I would expect you to achieve from fitting these seals.

The Vacuum pump is a very common oil leak with all R56 Petrol Minis, placed at the front right side of the engine oil leaks from both the main body of the pump and the pumps main seal to the engine. Its a really persistent leak that can be heavy and leaves large amounts of oil beneath the pump on the gearbox, down the front of the engine and onto the exhaust pipe causing an unpleasant odour.
If taken to a garage for repair your mechanic will be forced to replace the pump as these kits are not made by Mini, they require you to replace the whole unit.
