Star Wars Empire Strikes Back Authentic 70mm Film Cell SEALED SET OF 4 + 1

A very rare find, set of the 70mm film cells. There is a slipcase holding four of the cells and a fifth one is located outside the case, which we have not seen elsewhere. Released in 1996 by Lucasfilm, item #50704. UPC is 030009507040. The four cells are in a slipcase which is hand numbered (see first pic below). It is still sealed in the factory cellophone. Very light storage wear only, no tears in the shrinkwrap.

One issue we suspect is regarding the front film cell, which seems to be a bonus item and not part of the set of 4 (as far as we can tell). Inspecting the film on this cell closely it looks completely black, which may be due to the fact that you cannot hold it up to the light as long as it is in the cellophane, or possibly that it was exposed to ambient light which caused it to darken. We cannot know what the other cells show in terms of specific image, but as they are protect by the case it is safe to assume they have not been affected by any light-related issues. Kept stored indoors in a smoke-free home.

There is value in the fact that the collection is still sealed, if you are going to open it you may as well simply purchase already opened examples which are much easier to find.
