This old bronze eagle lost most of its original gold gild. I can still see some gold gild on the edges of the feathers. What I really like is its absolutely stunning patina, super rich and deep from being in the elements for years. I don't see any restoration to this amazing, probably early c.1900, solid bronze eagle. There are scuffs and scratches to bronze and patina throughout, consistent with age. All these imperfections which add characters to it.
