is this surface magnet of a silver and black Sikorsky VS-44A powered by Pratt
& Whitney R-1830 radial piston
engines. The VS-44A, "Escambia", was a large four-engined flying boat
built in the United States in the early 1940s by Sikorsky Aircraft. Based on
the XPBS-1 patrol bomber, the VS-44A was designed primarily for the
transatlantic passenger market, with a capacity of 40+ passengers. Escambia has
been restored and is displayed at the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks,
CT. Magnet measures approximately 4 inches long by 1-1/2 inches wide by 1/8
inch thick. Please review all images and ask
questions before bidding or buying. Don’t miss your chance to add this rare
piece to your collection or to give as a unique gift for that special someone.

* RETURN POLICY
***********************************************************
Communications are met
with an honest and sincere effort to achieve a fair resolution in a polite
manner. Full refunds given an item was wrongly described or misrepresented.

issues beyond my control, I will still strive for a reasonable solution.
* USPS CLAIMS
***************************************************************
Should an item show up
damaged from shipping, the following is required: 1) Pictures of the damaged
item while still in the shipping container and packing- peel back or remove
packing enough to reveal item damage (along with any visible shipping box
damage). 2) A picture of the entire shipping label. All this proof
is required before USPS will consider a damage claim. Proof of the
item sale and cost is easily provided but is also why pictures are needed to
compare to the original transaction and pictures. Shipping costs are never
refunded by the USPS (except if item is lost in transit).
