Scola is one of the most recognised names around, With this artists Gesso Acrylic medium surface primer providing excellent surface preparation for acrylic or oil paint.
It is ideal for directly sealing all semi-absorbent surfaces before applying colour, Its viscosity and white colour make it particularly good at covering surfaces.
Simply apply with a roller or paintbrush to a clean, non-greasy surface such as canvases, plaster, hardboard, MDF and other surfaces before painting with your acrylic or oil paints.
Gesso primer dries quickly leaving a white matt finish, which improves the adhesion of the acrylic or oil layers.
