Antique Imperial French gilt bronze double folding picture frame.

The frame has empire style gilt bronze bow top framing and ornamentations surrounding the frame. Silk brocade is used and the original glass protects the interior of the frame. The backing is protected by the original green leather.

It measuring at 9 1/4” long by 7” tall. Each frame is 4 5/8” by 7” tall and holds a 2 1/4” by 3 1/2” image.

The frame is in excellent condition. The hinges are in perfect working state as well.
