Superman #17 from 1942. Beautiful yellow cover with Superman holding Hitler and Hirohito by the scruff of the neck while straddling the world. It's difficult to estimate how important this cover is and how rare the book is to find.
Book is complete with 68 pages and presents well, but has a spine split up to the middle of the book. Cover is still attached at the top staple and the pages and inside covers are very clean and white. That's very important on a book this age. There's what looks to be critter chews in the lower left corner and lower right edge of the front cover and there's a subscription crease through the book as well. Back cover has a little paper loss at the lower spine. If you were grading the book by the page quality, this would be high grade. In FR+ condition.

Bidders may want to wait for a second invoice on purchases over $50 or any auction for that matter. For $7.75 I can ship up to 3 books Priority which includes arrival in 3 days plus automatic insurance of $50. That said, I've never had a book not arrive in the condition sent.

Will combine shipping for multiple purchases. Please check out my other auctions for more Golden/Silver Age Superhero, Pre-Code, GGA, and War Books.

For international bidders, please wait until I personally send an invoice. eBay tends to miscalculate the international shipping cost. For example, shipping to Canada with 1 comic is $14, 2-3 comics is $21.
