ABOUT THE STAMPS:
This issue is composed of four stamps, highlighting the Brazilian hot pepper species, domesticated, considered to be the most significant of Brazil, such as: malagueta (Capsicum frutescens), dedo-de-moça (Capsicum baccatum var. pendulum), bode and biquinho (Capsicum chinense). The two last belong to the same species Capsicum chinense, but different variety, differing in shape, smell, flavor and pungency. The growing areas of the species are different. Bode is grown in Goias State, while the biquinho in Minas Gerais State. The block of four is a reproduction of photographs of the natural peppers of each mentioned species, which express, with its components and elements, the strength and beauty of the iconographic group: fruit, flower and stem. Micro letters in identification of varieties, located in the branches of the fruits and photography manipulation and graphic computing techniques were used
