These are brand new top quality Verbatim 2hd 3.5" floppy discs  That are used for this purpose, Which you have to use for installation of Windows 95 / 98 / 98 SE /ME  .They are the source of checking hard drives via setting up for Installs and for setting up partitions and then Formatting the hard drives .If you have an early IDE hard drive as in 40 mb to 80 GB  .This is the only way to properly set up and format these Hard drives in either 16 bit or 32 bit set ups .Hard drives set up in any computer running Ntfs file system or XFat  from Windows 7 to Windows 10 will not all ways tell you if the drive will work under Fat 16 or Fat 32 ,Which is the file system required to run from DOS To Windows 95 A which are 16 bit to Windows 95 B / C /98 / 98 SE / ME , Which are 32 bit Operating systems . The reason for Hard drives not working in early systems is that unless it is checked by Windows 95 to Me floppy it does not use scan disc to check the disc surface .In other words dont think if you buy a Hard drive tested in XP to Windows 10 that it will work when you try and install Windows 95 to Me . There is a Floppy version for Windows 95A 16 Bit .Windows 95b/95c .Windows 98 , Windows 98Se and Windows Me . which ever version you want just let me know .The all will start of the process and will all set up the hard drive , Fdisk , Scandisk.and Format in either 16 bit maximum of 504 mb Or 32 bit for the rest .If You use an Me Boot disc it will write Windows Me in the Systems settings name ,but still works the same
