This listing is for an antique, Victorian, quilted satin glass biscuit jar with silver plate cover by William A. Rogers Ltd. The jar measures 6 3/4 inches or 17.1 cm high to the top of the cover and is 6 inches or 15.2 cm at its widest.
The jar is hand blow and has a quilted pattern throughout, the glass is an opaque pink color with a satin finish. The silver plate cover is ribbed and has a smooth finish and has a slightly domed shape. The interior is marked "WR QUADRUPLE NEW YORK 756", this for William A. Rogers Ltd.
The glass is in good condition with only a few small chips on the top rim, and there is some darkening and surface scratches to the silver plate cover. Please see the many photos for more on it's look and condition as they are an important part of the description.
