Insulated mittens are part of the all-season set of field uniforms (VKBO) of the armed forces of the Russian Federation. VKBO mittens are lightweight and compact. The outer fabric repels moisture, protects against snow, wind. Insulation does not absorb moisture, keeping warm. Designed for use in extreme cold conditions.

Mittens are placed in the side pockets of the jacket.  It is possible to attach the mittens to the sleeves of the jacket from the insulated suit, to prevent their loss. Adjustable in size with a wide sling and buckle in the wrist area. .
