This Standard Chef Jacket from Tibard offers a great mix of style and function at an unbeatable price. This chef jacket is created using a durable PolyCotton fabric blend, which offers a lightweight, soft feel a great look and also hard wearing performance, able to cope with the rigours of a kitchen environment and also industrial laundry.
The long sleeves on this jacket give the more traditional appearance, together with protection for your arms whilst cooking. The sleeves are finished off with classic straight edge cuffs, and the collar features a neat mandarin style cut giving great freedom of movement in the kitchen. The stud fasteners are concealed behind fabric, providing that clean, sleek look which has made the iconic white chef’s jacket famous.

About Tibard
Tibard are a family business from Manchester who provide workwear and uniforms to organisations across the country. Since 1979, their focus has been understanding precisely what their customer’s need from their clothing and then exceeding their expectations. They have the highest retention of all uniform providers, from multi-nationals to your local pub.
As you may well be aware, Pizza Express are quite a big name in the catering industry, having over 450 restaurants worldwide, as well as selling a consumer range of products in all of the top supermarkets. Therefore, when looking for a supplier of workwear, Pizza Express turned to an equally big name in the industry, Tibard. With over 8,500 employees in the UK alone, they require a very large number of core workwear items such as aprons and t-shirts, all of which are supplied by Tibard from their base in Manchester.
As an international brand, Pizza Express have 12 locations in Hong Kong which Tibard are also responsible for the supply of uniforms to making them a truly international operation. All of the sites are supplied with the distinctive Pizza Express aprons which are worn by servers and chefs alike as well as various promotional t-shirts which are all personalised garments which must be screen printed or embroidered.
Working with one of the most distinctive and best loved restaurant chains in the world, TGI Fridays. They began their work with them in 2011 when TGI Fridays were struggling to source the iconic braces that their serving staff are so well known for. Fortunately, their team of managed uniform account experts were able to consistently source the key product for TGI Fridays and from thereon the relationship blossomed.
Over time, more and more of TGI Fridays uniform requirements were entrusted to Tibard including of course, our own range of manufactured chefs wear. Many other elements of the uniforms that were required are bespoke to TGI Fridays and as such, there is the need for a very fine management of production in order to forecast staff changes, new openings and ensure that the supply of shirts, blouses and polo shirts is uninterrupted.
When you consider the sheer size of the TGI Fridays chain in the UK, it is easy to see how big a relationship this is. Fridays have over 55 locations and employ over 3,000 people which means a very large amount of uniforms are required to keep their staff looking great. With locations ranging from Aberdeen to Norwich, the whole task that Tibard is set is a complex one which requires a very keen handle on logistics.
