New Hornby 0-6-0 motor with R7274 4-pin digital decoder. This is the same decoder as X9659, it is just in a retail packet. The included 4-pin digital decoder will simply plug onto the motor's 4-pin plug.

You can also use this to upgrade your existing 0-6-0 to digital. It will fit virtually any of Hornby's later 0-6-0 locos with a clip fit type chassis, including 'Thomas the Tank Engine', as long as your loco requires a motor like this with two long copper pick-ups on either side. If you have the older type which has an axle pick-up and one long copper pick-up, then you have an older type loco and this motor and decoder won't work in your chassis. 

This motor won't be any use for a Super Detail 0-6-0 since these have a different motor arrangement.

I do also have this motor separately available on its own, and with a blanking plug for analogue use.
When you fit this motor to your loco's chassis, you must ensure that the brass worm gear is fitting snuggly into your axle drive gear and there isn't any play, otherwise your axle drive gear will get stripped and will need replacing.
