Late 1940’s classic “New Look” silhouette Navy Gab suit, cinched & nipped waist with exaggerated flared “petal” hips which are padded at the pockets for extra drama, deep rear vent at jacket. Lined in navy Rayon crepe, labels have been removed. Metal zipper in unlined skirt. Measures chest-34”, waist-24”, Hip-38”, sleeve-22 1/2”, shoulder seam to seam-14 1/4”, length rear nape seam to hem-25 1/2”. Skirt waist-28”, hip-38”, length-28”. Jacket in excellent condition, no stains or spots noted on either piece. The waistband of skirt has been removed and restitched back on, with an extender in a different fabric added in to let it out. There’s some stray threads at waistband. No fading to the exterior or lining, no underarm discoloration. There are eyes at the waistband of skirt but no hooks. Rayon & wool smooth blend...BUY-IT-NOW!
