Two horizontal creases not affecting stamps, also an address (Weill brothers from LA) stamped on reverse .The altered plate (value) was ordered by the Confederation but was never put into use. Several reprints in various colours have been produced from it. Very Interesting item not usually seen as a large multiple. |
