In addition to the basic functions of the metronome that chops the standard beat, it is equipped with a rhythm coach function that enables effective rhythm training. You can check the rhythm shift yourself by connecting a trigger pad such as Roland V-Pad or using the built-in microphone. In Time Check mode, you can visually check the deviation from the reference beat. Also, in the Gradual Up / Down mode, you can practice according to the beat whose speed gradually changes. It is useful for cultivating accurate rhythm keeping ability and acquiring rich expressiveness.

The slider volume at the bottom of the display allows you to freely combine four types of rhythm and accent volume. By combining two types of beats, you can handle from simple beats to compound beats, and you can easily create original rhythm patterns of various strengths and weaknesses.

If you use the loop play function that allows you to specify patterns and memorize the number of repetitions, you can perform effective training according to the image of the song. It is also useful for creating training guides by combining various rhythms and for practicing irregular rhythms. In addition, it is also equipped with a reference sound sounding function that is convenient when checking the pitch during instrument tuning or voice training. Chromatic pronunciation is possible in the range of 5 octaves from C2 to B6. In addition, 50 types of metronome settings and 10 types of reference sound settings can be memorized and recalled immediately.

Control by foot operation is also possible
By connecting a foot switch such as FS-5U or FS-6, DB-90 can start / stop and memory up / down, so you can comfortably control even if you cannot operate the panel.

Equipped with an input terminal, you can connect a guitar or bass. The sound of the connected instrument can be played back with the headphone jack equipped with an amplifier simulator or the speaker of the DB-90 main unit. Effective guitar / bass training is possible.

Equipped with a MIDI IN terminal, it can be synchronized with external MIDI devices. For example, it is useful when playing in combination with a sequence system, such as using it as a click sound source for live performances.
