High Quality LED chips especially manufactured for Pimp My Decks in Ice / Light Blue - a non standard LED colour :)

We use 3mm LED's for the POP UP LIGHT as opposed to 5mm LED's.
Although Technics introduced LED POP UP's in the later MK5, M5G and MK6 models, the POP UP Turret has a completely different design. The newer version has a 45 degree reflector inside so the LED can be installed upright. The turret also has a larger aperture in comparison to the MK2 version. This is why it's not a good idea to use a 5mm upright LED in a MK2 turret. The LED shines directly upward inside the turret wasting valuable illumination. Our 3mm LED's can be bent to a 90 degree angle, giving superior illumination across the whole record. Please see the last two photos in the listing for our turret and LED comparison.
