"Laundry Bluing put up in the handles of Stove Lid Lifters, Tack Hammers, etc.
"The contents of each handle equals a pint of Liquid Bluing....
... when empty you have a useful utensil instead of a useless bottle...."
NOTE: "Hammer Guy" Bill G. from Canada shared some cool info on the tools featured on this card.
See the 2 screen shots included among the card photos. (Thanks Bill!)
NOTE: the actual tools are NOT included w/ this card; they are FYI photos only, from Bill's collection.
Bill writes: "The hammer, stove lifter, and the meat tenderizers are all cast steel.
The bottom of the handle of each item is round and could easily be stopped by a cork. It is my understanding that
the bluing was contained in a small cloth bag, then put into the handle, stopped with a cork,
then swirled in the warm water until the right shade of blue was obtained. Then the washing began."
Condition: flaws as shown. Reverse has serious toning that partially obscures advertising text.
