"BEST IN SHOW":  Up for Auction is a very rare 1950's Vintage Iridescent Mother of Pearl Sea Shell.

The Sea Shell is one of a kind, Hand Carved depicting an Island scene.  It has been been converted into a cigarette & match Case.

The bottom part is all hand carved on a solid piece of Red Oak wood.

From the look of the art work engraved on the shell it could depicts one of the Polynesian Islands in the South Pacific.

Since we don't smoke we used it as a Jewelry Box.

It's gorgeous and will be a great decor piece for a beach theme.

Shell alone is 7" long  x 7" wide  approx.

Box is 9" long x 8" wide x 2" tall approx.
