Campbell Brown Ltd have been fitting kitchens and bathrooms in Gloucestershire for many years and we're often asked by clients if we can fit a light in their shower niche.

In response we have developed this complete waterproof lighting kit giving you all you need to create that boutique hotel style lighting in a shower niche.

All the components have been tested together and are compatible. These lights are low voltage and waterproof and are made of 316 stainless steel so won't rust. 


Each kit comes with the following:- one IP 67, 12 volt led lamp; one IP20 LED driver; one 19mm diamond hole saw; 2.5 metres of flex; one IP 68 connector and a user guide written by us in clear English.


Please note this kit is non dimmable.



How to order:-


Simply choose either a warm white or cool white kit and then if you need additional lamps select colour of kit PLUS the number of extra lamps needed.   For example if you needed 3 Cool White lights you would select Cool white kit PLUS 2 extra lamps.

Each kit comes with the following:- one IP 67, 12 volt led lamp; one IP20 LED driver; one 19mm diamond hole saw; 2.5 metres of flex; one IP 68 connector and a user guide.


The CE, RoHS certified mini lamps are available as 3000k warm white or 6000k cool white. The surface finish is brushed stainless steel.

They are rated at 1 watt with a 12 volt CREE LED and have a beam angle of 30 degrees. Each lamp in the kit has 400mm of factory fitted cable in harmonised colours. The lamps are IP67 rated and are suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2. PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE NOT SUBMERSIBLE LIGHTS AND SHOULD NOT BE USED IN AREAS WHERE THEY WILL BE TOTALLY IMMERSED IN WATER.


The CE, RoHS certified LED driver is a 12 volt, 15 watt constant voltage driver, and is suitable for UK 220/240 volt mains power. It is rated IP20 and should be sited in a suitable and accessible position for its IP rating and future maintenance. It is double insulated so does not require an earth and is capable of powering 5 lights. DO NOT EXCEED 80% OF THE RATED WATTAGE CAPACITY.


The kit contains 2.5 metres of 2 core flex in harmonised colours, which in our experience is plenty to run to an attic, adjacent airing cupboard or accessible ceiling void.


The IP 68 straight connector provided is 15mm in diameter and is designed to fit through the hole in the tile to allow for easy wiring and future servicing if needed.


Each additional lamp you purchase comes with an extra IP68 connector and an extra 2.5 metres of cable enabling you to run cable back to an accessible junction box. Additional lamps should be wired in parallel.


The diamond holesaw provided  is ideal for porcelain, ceramic, glass, and natural stone tiles. Keep it cool and wet when drilling and it's good for loads of holes.


Each kit comes with a fitting guide which is intended to assist fitting by a suitably qualified professional.
