Dear Heavenly Father, Your Son Jesus taught us that not even a sparrow falls to the ground without Your knowledge. Therefore we know that You are always with us and care for us and our pets. Our pet (name) brought us much joy and companionship. We shared many happy times together, and we learned much about nurturing those around us. Although we will miss our faithful companion, we give thanks to You, Gracious Father, for creating all animals, and for giving this precious creature to us to love.
