The Hipflasks are engraved with powerful lasers, which depending on the hipflask will either remove the powder coated paint or changes the the compound of the metal through heat changing the colour of engraving.  Engraving does vary slightly depending on the colour selected.  All images in the gallery will show you how the colour will look once engraved.  All engraving will be almost flat or smooth to the touch.

We can engrave logos, monograms, simple clip art, signatures and any text with our set fonts in the gallery.  If you would like text we do have a following guidelines below to our recommendations;

Recommended character limit for hip flasks;

20 lines of text up to 30 characters per line, this is inclusive of punctuation and spaces.  Note: These are a guideline and can be flexible depending on your needs.

We can engrave logos,  monograms and clip art but these must be a clear image supplied by yourself (Google is great for free images), ideally black and white but we can work with other colours too.  It only becomes a potential problem is the logo is multiple colours interlocking throughout, this is quite rare.  We would always advise you to message us prior to ordering if you have any concerns.

Signatures or personal handwritten notes can be engraved through a clear image of the text being sent.  For the best quality to be achieved, send a clear image of the handwritten text/signature/drawn picture to us via message.  The text must be in black ink, bold text is far more visible once engraved and would highly recommend a thick or the minimum of a medium tip marker pen on clean white paper (not lined).

Dispatch time is the time taken to action your order, this could be 1 - 5 working days depending on how busy we are.  Generally it is far faster but will still calculate the highest possible dispatch time during ordering or ETA delivery.

Postage within the UK usually takes 2-3 working days as standard (addition postage can be added at checkout) but dispatch time will still be the same.

International postage does vary but on average 8-10 working days.

Gift notes are not available in our shop unfortunately.  Any text places into the 

"Notes to seller" tab is for additional instructions to our engraver, to be used if you feel adding more information reference your order will be of benefit.

We have monograms on the gallery which can be used in conjunction with a name, this is classed as a logo when ordering.

We do try to send an edited preview image after ordering to ensure we get the design perfect for you.  This is not mandatory for you to accept before we engrave as your order could possibly be engraved within minutes.  This is a tool we use to ensure the best possible customer service.  We would advice you to reply ASAP if we do send one through.  Preview images are only used for text designs and not logos, etc.  A preview image may not even be sent due to high volumes of orders so we ask for clear direction on in the "Notes to seller" tab.
