What is Sage?
 
Sage is a herb. The leaf is used to make medicine. There are many species of Sage. The two most common species are Common Sage (Salvia officinalis) and Spanish Sage (Salvia lavandulaefolia). Sage is used for Alzheimer disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, and symptoms of menopause. It is also used for many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses. In foods, Sage is a commonly used spice. In manufacturing, Sage is used as a fragrance component in soaps and cosmetics.
 
Where does Sage Come From?
 
Our Sage is sourced from Egypt. Sage, (Salvia officinalis) also called Common Sage or Garden Sage, is an aromatic herb of the Mint family (Lamiaceae) cultivated for its pungent leaves. Sage is native to the Mediterranean region and is used fresh or dried as a flavouring in many foods, particularly in stuffings for poultry and pork and in sausages. Some varieties are also grown as ornamentals for their attractive leaves and flowers. Several other species of the genus Salvia are also known as Sage.

We use Royal Mail and Fedex to deliver all our orders. Orders 4kg or under will be delivered by Royal Mail 48 or Royal Mail 48 Tracked. All orders over 4kg will be delivered by Fedex Next Day courier service. All orders are processed within 1 working day and will usually be delivered within 2-3 days after an order is placed. Express delivery options are available and can be requested during eBay checkout.
