RARE
Goodell Pratt Tool Co
This is a very unusual Goodell Pratt tool. The tool is a wood lathe that uses an electric hand drill as a motor and has a table saw attachment mounted on it. This tool must be pretty darn rare as I have been completely unable to find any other examples of one. The lathe has an overall length of 29 1/2 inches and is mounted on its original wood base that still has a partial oval Goodell Pratt decal on it. The electric drill motor does run and has a brass Goodell Pratt Toolsmiths tag with type No. 1040 stamped on it. The lathe is in pretty good untouched original condition, most of its original paint is intact and the bare metal shows only light oxidation. The lathe must have originally had a tailstock and a lathe tool rest both of which are no longer with the lathe. If you collect Goodell Pratt tools, pay attention as it may be a very long time before you see another.
