Gladding McBean, Los Angeles, CA   1875-1962           Here is a thick vintage tile from GMB with depression-glazed decoration.   This method was typical when making floor tiles to protect the glazed design.    Glossy black and green-nice red clay.  In great condition;  has very minor wear.  Measures 4 1/4"x 4 1/4" x 1" thick.  Signed, never set.   Listing is for 1 tile - last photo shows this design in other colors, listed separately.
