The debossing machine we use was originally used in an American Army Hospital in Vung Tau, Vietnam. It was used for re-issuing dog tags that were either lost in combat or amended.
What you get:
1 x Paper envelope of issue, 2 x folded edge surgical grade steel tags made in the USA, long neck chain and short toe chain that will not tarnish or make your skin go green or black. (unlike cheap Chinese made tags) These are the real deal, deeply embossed.
Our Tags are made in the U.S.A and are stamped "USA" on the chain joiners. The shorter chain tag would be put onto a toe so that the body bag would not have to be opened all the way to identify the body. The tag on the long chain went your documentation.
2 x Silicone Silencers to prevent them making a noise if they bump together. Choose from Black (historically correct), Red (for medical alert) Green Camo, Blue Camo, Pink Camo or Glow in the Dark Yellow (glows green)- You can mix the colours if you wish. On some tags they will cover parts of the text, this is normal.
5 lines with up to 16 characters per line (inc spaces)
The tags are debossed on a 1965 dated military dog tag machine so there is no @ character.
The RH+ & RH- will be portrayed as Pos or Neg, So A+ will be written as A Pos, B Neg, etc
It is up to you what you would like stamped on your tag, but here some ideas of how original Vietnam era tags would of been stamped.

The service number started with the initials RA=Regular Army, WA=Woman's Army, AF=Enlisted Airman, AA=Enlisted Airforce Woman, AO=Airforce Officer
ER=Enlisted Reservist, NG=National Guard, US-Enlisted Draftee, WR=War Reservist OF=Officers.
It was said that if you had no religion, you would get Christmas duties, so many of the soldiers chose "No preference" rather than Atheist.
But at the end of the day it is your tag and your choice. You will be surprised on how many "Jedi Knights" I have stamped lol
