As this model is patterned after an actual upright piano, and made using actual piano action parts, it is an authentic, accurate representation of an upright piano and can be used to practice regulating of the piano action. As a learning tool, the assembly into a working model will impart a thorough understanding of the action itself and the processes and techniques necessary to service any piano. These skills are invaluable to any piano technician as well as a necessary requirement for membership in the Piano Technicians Guild.
