World first: the groundbreaking Z10 with P.R.G. for hot and cold brew coffee specialties

As a masterpiece of Swiss engineering, the new Z10 doubles the range of coffee specialties. At the push of a button, it prepares the entire range of hot products, from intense espresso to hip flat white. In addition, with cold brew specialties, it opens up a whole parallel universe of coffee enjoyment for the first time. This is made possible by the Product Recognizing Grinder (P.R.G.), which recognizes the selected specialty and adapts the grinding fineness to it in a flash.

JURA has also developed the pioneering cold brew process - a refreshing top innovation in the truest sense of the word. Cold water is pulsed slowly through the freshly ground coffee under high pressure. The result is a completely new way of discovering coffee - refreshing, energizing and wonderfully balanced in aroma.
The superlative premium fully automatic machine can be controlled via a double-speed 4.3 ”touch display and the Blue Crystal Rotary Switch. The specialty selection menu and artificial intelligence make operation particularly easy and intuitive. The technological quantum leap is reflected in the sculptural design. The new Product Recognizing Grinder (P.R.G.)

JURA engineers have developed the Product Recognizing Grinder (P.R.G.) to ensure the best possible grist for each individual specialty. Electronically controlled, the precision grinder adjusts itself individually to the predefined degree of grinding within fractions of a second - much faster and more frequently than would be possible manually. Its spectrum ranges from very fine for short classics to very coarse for long specialties. But connoisseurs don't need to worry about that, because the adjustment takes place fully automatically with each preparation and, if desired, can be selected individually before each preparation thanks to the aroma selection. 

Cold Brew - extremely fresh

Thanks to the cold extraction process, the Z10 prepares real cold brew specialties. While many conventional cold coffee beverages mostly consist of hot brewed, cooled coffee, the extraction of the Z10 is done with cold water, pulsing, under high pressure and a powder that tends to be coarsely ground. The result in the cup is a natural, energizing soft drink in which the fruit aromas of the coffee come into their own without being overlaid by bitter substances. Anything else would be just cold coffee.

The brewing unit is the heart of every fully automatic machine. JURA has designed the eighth generation of brewing units for the Z10. With its unique 3D brewing technology, it ensures that the water flows through the coffee powder evenly over several levels.
