The two part flask is precision made from cast iron. It allows the easy duplication. The sand casting flask can be filled vertically or horizontally, securely by two locating pins. The casting void is approximately 115 x 74 x 58 mm. The flask holds the sand when a mould is being made. 

Petrobond is a high oil mix bonded sand suitable for non ferrous metals, including gold, silver, aluminium,  bronze silicon bronze, manganese bronze, and brass and copper based alloys. The sand produces a fine surface finish and produces comparable results to delft clay, using the same techniques and tools. It can also be used as an alternative to green sand for larger castings and produces near die cast quality casting. The sand can be reused multiple times. The casting sand is supplied vacuum packed in sealed plastic bag and is post free.

A new cast iron crucible (melting pot/ dish) with pouring lip and wooden and steel handle. The handle can be unscrewed so the cast iron crucible can be use separately. The crucible bowl is 50mm wide x 27mm high. The overall length (with the handle attached) is approximately 305mm and weighs approximately 495g. 

The Mandrel is length is 50 mm Max diameter 14 mm and 2.95 mm shank. The mandrel is used to form the passage for the liquid metal to pass through.
