GMF Tast-Licht aus der Zeit von 1938-1945. Die Lampe ist in einem sehr guten Originalzustand!!! Sie wird als Sammlerobjekt verkauft. Sollte sie in Betrieb genommen werden, muss die Verkabelung erneuert werden!!!

Zugeschrieben wird das Design der Lampe der berühmten Bauhausschülerin Marianne Brandt, die bei der Ruppelwerk GmbH bis 1932 als Chefdesigner beschäftigt war. 1938 wurde Ruppel zwangsumfirmiert in GMF (Gothaer Metallwaren Fabrik 1938-1945).

Collector's item: this late 1930s/1940s Tast-Licht by GMF comes in its original state and parts. It is not usable in this condition as the old wiring has to replaced.

The design of the Tast-Licht is attributed to Marianne Brandt, who worked for the Ruppelwerk Gmbh until 1932. The Tast-Licht was patented in 1936, so with some years of developing an idea and a design takes, it is very likely that Marianne Brandt influenced the design of the Tast-Licht as it clearly reflects Bauhaus design lines and former lamp design elements Brandt successfully developed for e.g. Kandem.
