6 Tazze (6 espresso cup), 9 Tazze (9 espresso cups)

*Espresso cups are smaller than tea or coffee cups/mugs. Please take care while choosing the moka pot size to avoid disappointment.

All moka pots come in three parts:
Bottom chamber holds fresh water and has a pressure valve.
Middle part is a perforated coffee basket or funnel to hold the coffee grounds, which should be lightly packed.
The top chamber is where the brewed coffee ends up.

How to Use:
1. Fill up the bottom part of moka with water BELOW the safety valve (pressure relief valve) level. Please make sure this is done, to avoid pressure built up!

2. Place the ground coffee inside the funnel with slight pressure. Do not use malt or coffees with other substances which may obturate the filter orifices.
3. Clean the screw circle, the rubber ring and the funnel sides. Any coffee particles left there may deprive hermetical closing and lead to steam leaking from the moka.
4. Keep the coffeemaker in upright position when screwing the two parts (bottom and top). This will avoid coffee moistening. 
5. Take off coffeemaker from stove as soon as the coffee infusion is totally gone to the upper part. Please be careful while checking the progress of coffee making to avoid burns.

The upper body and the tube for which the coffee infusion goes up must be periodically cleaned. 

For this purpose take off the rubber ring and the filter. Never use any soap or detergent.

We advise rinsing the bottom and the top parts of moka with water only (no soap or detergent) to avoid spoiling the taste of coffee.
