How to
order
Please
place your order and send your photo, text and charm (if selected)
information through ebay messages by going to your purchase history and then
selecting the contact seller option from the dropdown list. You can then upload
the photo by using the attach photo button or the camera icon when using the
app. Please provide the full text and any layout requirements, including
symbols and fonts.
Alternatively
you can send over your photo to our email address, the details can be found on
either your order or payment confirmation. If sending an email please make sure
you include your ebay ID or order number. Sorry but Ebay will not allow me to
send you my email address on their messaging service.

Stainless
Steel Rectangle Keyring - 25mm x 35mm x 5mm
If
selecting the ‘No Engraving’ option from the list your keyring will be send blank
both sides. ‘Engraving 1 Side Only’ will come with either a photo or text one
side (you cannot have text under a photo), the back will be left blank. The
option labelled ‘Engraving Both Sides’ will come with a photo engraved one side
and text the other, you could also have text both sides or a photo both sides.
If you select to have a charm added to your keyring but do not a request a
style when you place your order a heart symbol will be sent as standard.
You can
have any image which can be a photo, hand and footprints, a child's drawing or
handwriting. We are happy to accommodate any design requests and you are
welcome to send any images to us before purchase to check that they are
suitable for your chosen item, although we cannot always guarantee engraving
results.
Our
engraved items are made out of high quality stainless steel and do not tarnish.
They make great gifts and keepsakes for any occasion including Valentines,
Birthdays, Weddings, Baby Births, Christmas, Mothers & Fathers Day or a
lovely way to remember a lost loved one.
The image
is engraved onto the item, engraved images are made up of thousands of tiny
dots which mark the stainless steel item creating a holographic effect, so as
you move the item around it will appear darker and lighter. The item is
Stainless Steel and therefore silver in colour (scans do not have a black
background) and has a high polished mirror finish. Engraved images cannot come
in colour.
Photo
Requirements
Please
ensure your image is not blurry and not too dark, please do not crop or reduce
the size of your image and ensure that there is not a bright background behind
the subject. The image that you send can be black and white, sepia or full
colour, this does not have any effect on the engraved result. To get the best
engraving results we will edit the image and where required remove backgrounds
(unless specified otherwise).
Font
Choose
your font from the photo above. If you do not select a font, we will default to
the font that suits the design best. If a design is shown with different fonts
only the more decorative font will be changed unless you specify a change of
font for the whole of the text.
Text
Send us
your chosen text, making sure you use the correct grammar, punctuation and
spelling, as we will copy and paste your text from the email directly on the
engraved item.
Design
Requirements
Please
send us any additional information regarding your order, for instance layout
requests and if you require any symbols or emoji’s. If we do not receive any
instructions regarding your layout we will add the layout we feel looks best.
Tips for
children's drawings or handwritten messages
The best
results come from using a dark felt pen on a white background (although you can
send us any drawing and we can edit it before engraving it, if in doubt you can
email the drawing prior to purchase), please avoid coloured in drawings, line
drawings will give the best and clearest results. Please scan or take a bird’s
eye photo of the drawing / handwriting. If taking a photo please avoid shadows
over the drawing.
Tips for
taking hand and footprints
Dark
Paint on White Paper
You can
use a dark coloured paint on white paper to take the prints. Black paint is
best. Once you have taken the print(s) please scan or take a high quality,
bird’s eye photo of the print and send it to us, quoting your order
reference. We can remove small smudges if necessary.
Photo
Alternatively
you can take a photo of the hand and foot. I will remove the background, but
please make sure the image is not blurry and without shadows.

*The
items are personalised, therefore we cannot accept refunds or returns unless a
mistake has been made by us. In the unlikely event you are unhappy with
your finished product please contact us, if we feel a refund is justified,
refunds will only be provided once the product is returned to us. The buyer is
responsible for the return postage and we recommend sending via a signed for
service.
*Please
check your text for spelling a grammar as we will copy and paste your chosen text
from your email onto the engraved item, therefore we cannot be held accountable
for any mistakes made by you..
*Unless
specified we will edit and remove backgrounds where we feel you would have the
best engraving results. Therefore, we cannot be held accountable if you are not
happy with the end result. Unless the layout requires it (or it has been
requested at time of purchase) we will zoom in on the faces as this gives the
best engraving results.
*The
engraved images are only as good as the originals sent to us. If your photo is
older, blurred or has heavy shadow / patches of light, then this will be
reflected in the finished product.
*Photos
of your engraved items maybe be used for advertising unless specified
otherwise.
*Please
send the requested information at time of purchase so that your order is not
delayed, make sure it is sent through here or to our email address, make sure
you include your order number otherwise we might not be able to match it to
your order. Delivery lead time is from receipt of required information.
*We can
post items out in time for certain dates but cannot guarantee that Royal Mail
will deliver it in time. As per Royal Mail guidelines replacements or refunds
will be sent 10 workings days after expected delivery date. It is the customers
responsibility to provide the full and correct address, refunds will not be
provided if the information provided is incorrect. Upgrading to 1st class
does not affect the processing time but is a postage upgrade from 2nd class.
