These watches were not on sale in stores in the USSR. 
They were intended for senior officers and senior command staff of the USSR Armed Forces.

Made in USSR in 1990`s. It was manufactured by Vostok Factory in Chistopol. The factory was the official supplier for the Department of Defense of the USSR and produced watches for the Soviet Army. This is a VOSTOK MILITARY Watch Amphibian Legendary watch of commanders.
Rare original soviet military diver's vintage mechanical-automatic wristwatch Vostok amphibian 2416b (21 jewels). Waterproof (200m). Shock-resist. Wristwatch has a revolving bezel and a screw-down crown. The watch is in good working condition, (please see photos for visual condition). It is a mechanical wind-up watch, is working very well and keeps very good time.
