A large solid silver and very impressive capstan style inkwell. 

Excellent condition with no engravings. 

Hallmarks are for London 1931on the base with silversmiths marks for Walker & Hall. 

Please note these items have loaded bases. 

The original design was used on ships & the style & weight stopped them tipping in stormy seas.
