CUSTOM AIRBRUSHED XSPC RX360 TRIPPLE 120mm PC WATERCOOLING RADIATOR & BARBS
Up for sale is my XSPC RX360 Water-Cooling Radiator that I custom airbrushed in blue Kryptek 3D camo effect.
The RX360 Triple, XSPC Radiator has been used for approx. 2.5 years in a gaming PC I originally built and customised for my brother, it supports three 120mm computer fans. The radiator was filled with blue EK corrosion resistant coolant throughout its life and never gave us any issues at all. Its a monster of a radiator featuring a large surface area with amazing airflow abilities and low noise.
Paint process I used:
- I first protected the fins with carboard inserts and sanded back the original matte black finish for a smooth even surface.
- A few coats of primer were applied and were then wet sanded with 400-600 grit.
- Airbrushed a blue basecoat with Createx colours and left it hanging to dry over a couple of weeks.
- A hexagon pattern was cut out of vinyl with a plotter and it was applied carefully making sure all edges and corners were covered
- It was then painted with various airbrush paints and spray can effects.
- Once happy with the effects, I traced over every bit of hexagon pattern with the airbrush and black paint.
- When it dried, the vinyl hexagon vinyl pattern was removed to revel a shadowed 3D effect across the whole radiator .
- 3 coats of Rustoleum Satin clear were then applied to seal and protect it before installing into a PC case.
- Radiator has been sitting in storage since upgrading to new PC.
- Radiator has been fully cleaned inside and out and has been tested with water and a pump overnight before creating this listing, it did not leak at all.
- Radiator comes with Barb fittings as pictured, I have measured them as ID - 3/8Inch 10mm - OD - 1/2 inch 13mm.
- Does not come with fans or screws, only what is pictured.
- Radiator will be bubble wrapped, boxed and protected well for shipping.
