Dandilion is an original design unique one-off artist bear, handmade by Alison Sweeney of Sweeney Bears.
Dandilion is a jolly round teddy all dressed up and made of mohair ingenuity at its best - a dark golden thick pile mohair with darker brown tipped finish, likely Schulte mohair. Dandilion wears a dark blue cotton denim-look star-patterned dress, buttoned at the back, and a matching headband of the same fabric. She has Alison Sweeney’s signature on her right foot suede leather paw pad.
Dandilion has a tradition teddy look with a big roly-poly tummy hidden by her dress; she exudes instant appeal and warmth with her direct look and friendly demeaner, warming herself into your heart at the first glance. Perhaps she will warm herself into your heart and into your collection?
Dandilion is fully jointed and:
- Is approximately 36cm long, and 24cm tall when seated
- Is made of thick pile brown tipped, golden honey mohair
- has glass eyes
- has sewn black cotton nose
- is filled with polyfill
- has suede leather paw pads
- has Sweeney Bears makers tag sewn into side and also loose makers/name tag
- Also has original Alison Sweeney signature on right foot suede paw pad
- And wears a star-patterned dark blue denim-look dress and matching headband.
Dandilion is an artist bear that can be handed down the generations, and not a toy; not suitable for small children (owing to danger of small pieces) but would make a wonderful addition or a great start to any collection.
All our bears are from our bear collection which we are slowly selling off. Our bears have been housed behind glass and they have been well looked after, they were all bought new and remain in excellent condition. Our bears are like family, and we will be sad to see them go, but they will be very happy to join your bear family.
