It is wonderful to be able to attend Regency events once again, is it not.  Costumes by Cloisters are extremely excited at the prospect of balls, tea~parties, assemblies, etc., & cannot wait to start attending them (oh yes, we like to dance & socialise too).

With that in mind, we have created this beautiful gown that features a wealth of embroidered stitching, beautiful lace & pin tucking.  

The three quarter length sleeves are enhanced by lace with a black rose design & are edge with a gorgeous embroidered rose design trim, also in black, embroidered stitching & gothic style lace.  Around the neckline & back of the bodice, embroidered leave design stitch adds yet more detail to this opulent gown.  Three silver & black rose buttons fasten the bodice to the back & the empire line is also elaborated finished with embroidered stitching. 

Throughout, shades of lilac have been used to create beautifully embroidered stitched detail, as well as black.  It is as unique as you are & totally hand crafted with that in mind.  You will feel quite the gentleman's daughter as you walk & dance in this stunning gown.  You will also know that no one, in the world, has this gown but you!

The skirt part of the gown falls gently to the feet & is generously gathered to the back. It is lined with cotton.  The hemline features pin tucking, a wealth of embroidered stitching & the same beautiful laces that finish the sleeves, thus complimenting the gown.

We choose our materials very carefully, both with emulating the period & ease of home laundering in mind.  This dress, therefore, can be machine washed at 30C.
