Vintage Midnight Blue Corded Wrist Strap Purse 1930’s Brass Feather Pull + Story.

Corded design front and back, lined, clean, no rips or stains.

Zipper with brass feather pull functions perfectly.

Zipper compartment, with compartments on either side.

9” x 5” body (plus or minus), 6” wrist strap.

Very minor wear at the top “lip” of the purse (see photo # 6)

Stored where there are no pets, no smoking.

The story: I bought this purse on EBay when EBay was just taking off, quite a while back now. The seller had bought purses and hats from the estate of a burlesque queen who was well-known as a regular performer during the Blaze Starr era of “The Block” in Baltimore. The purses and hats for sale were extraordinary and it was just thrilling to “window shop”. This purse is tame, comparatively. I loved the story maybe even more than the purse. I’ve included the photos and note that the seller sent me, just for fun. I did carry the purse a time or two but not nearly enough! I erred by not finding more opportunities to dress up in vintage clothing and “put on the dog”.
