There was a little battery corrosion but we cleaned it out, and it works fine. The battery cover clip was broke and glued back on. The battery cover attaching screw is broke off. We did not see him shaking the bars like he was suppose to, but the lights and sound was working well. It also can use a 6 volt DC adapter, which is not included. It takes 4 AA batteries that are also not included.
