DESCRIPTION -   A large original early 20th century lithograph type print entitled 'Mevagissey Harbour' on the reverse.  Taken from a painting by the well known French artist Paul Emile Lecomte (1877-1950).

A superb old print which is not a modern photographic print with pixels but rather a collotype or aquatone print which at first glance looks a bit like a lithograph or aquatint.  In it's lovely authentic old dark cream mottled wooden frame with old Barton & Long framers label. Unglazed

APPROX SIZE of visible image 20.5" x 16.5" and 23.5" x 19.5" including frame.

CONDITION - In very good clean condition for age with bright unfaded colours, no foxing or watermarks but with an area of deterioration on the front of one of the boats bottom left as per photo and with two main knocks to frame as per photo and other minor marks to frame consistent with age and use but sound and generally quite presentable - please see photos to satisfy yourself as to condition as they form part of the description.  I do my best to describe all faults but am not infallible so please do not make a purchase unless you are totally happy regarding the condition.  .

Most of the paintings and prints that I source are antique or vintage and as such are not in perfect condition and may need some attention to frames, mounts, glass, fixings, tape, dust, nails etc.  However, I do try to be totally honest and bring any flaws and faults to your attention if present.

If you require any additional information or pictures, please don't hesitate to contact me as I am more than happy to help with any queries you may have.
