CONDITION
Over 100 years old, family home displayed.
Porcelain has no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or crazing ~ some light scuffs.
Gold acorns & leaves excellent, handpainted with some artist's imperfections & scuffs.
Top of jar's painted edge shows significant wear to gold & under-paint firing pitting.
Lid's painted edge & knob show wear & rough finish to gold, with rough area to inner porcelain edge.
Center circle at base around the mark has a minor edge dig/chip, marked in photo.
Some typical maker/firing imperfections: pitting, imperfect paint & glaze application, bubbles to gold.
Gold paint dot near bottom shows black in photo.
Base edge is unglazed, rough in finish & shows shading.
