This is the standard configuration FV180 Combat Engineering Tractor (CET) which is designed to carry out digging, recovery, liftng and river bank preperation tasks in a combat zone. The vehicle is of aluminium construction and is fully amphibious, using tracks and a pair of hydrojets for propulsion.

An unusual feature is that the two man crew sit 'back to back' in the special cupola and either can fully contol the vehicle and equipment.The CET entered service with the British Army in 1978 and still serves to the present day.

This extensive 1:35th scale model depicts a vehicle in digging configuration and comes complete with all tools, cables and fittings. An extensive etched brass detailing set is provided and includes a selection of etched number plates. Decals for other markings are not included but are available from our general decal sets.

We only stock kits. What you are buying is a model kit to be assembled and painted. It is not a toy for your kid. It is a model kit great for anyone adult or child who what to build something using their skills. Please note if the item is a conversion, update, or detail set you must provide the base kit for it. It does not come with it. Resin kits like these are not for the beginning modelers or one that wants a shake and bake kit. They take time and work. If you want an easy kit that just falls together then stick to plastic Tamiya kits. We are not trying to be rude with this but we have had several issue with people thinking it was built and painted, or they could just build it in 30 minutes.
