The piece here for sale is 5.00 metres and the cost is £375.00 plus postage is included this means it is less than 50% of its original cost.

I have no more of this fabric as this was left from an acquisition for a client.

TYPE OF SILK

Silk dupioni is a stubby textured silk fabric used in evening wear, special occasion garments, and home decorating.

The weaving of this fabric therefore contain minor variations and irregularities that are characteristic of fine silk yarn and should not be treated as defects.  They are perfectly natural.

The default inherent random slubs distinguish it from other lesser quality silks.
