Just a wow piece feel it from 1900s but could be older. Jetter & Scheerer company started 1887 became popular around world. Very rare haven't seen one like it I mean 10 years I been buying surgical. Very desirable German maker and was part of Wars. 30 plus tools in this set. Just beautiful the way it is made in dovetail case. With one removeable tray. Each tray has its own set of tools. This set is outline tools in metal on bottom of each tray. A lot of tools are marked snake and crown. Some are different names still made in mainly German. Many different arrange of surgical pieces and scalpel. Desirable skull drill and the throat piece might be Sterling. Old letter writing I just loved on out side. Oh! on top in German listed the tools in the case. Just a great piece of Medical and Surgical History of it's time.

I noticed:
There sign of used, rust, dust and age. Scalpel have chrome that has come off. Skull drill missing top screw. Tray has a part needs be screw in place not really anything. Last picture shows some damage and missing parts. Case from used still open and close. Case has wear, scratches, small cracks, rust on screws, dovetail has somewhere. Try be picky to show wear the best I can. Looked over item or asked for more pictures if needed. Thanks
***Bandage cloth was not part of this set it like 1960. Made a mistake but it can stay in there.

Antique are dust off lightly, not a professional cleaner of antiques rather not try and make sure item is not devalued. Might have dust, age, wear, antique smell or rust. I try my best to tell if there is any of this. Looked over pic and asked? Zoom in pictures if you can.
