This listing is an Antique Circa 1910 Schmelzer Brand Rain Cap Style Football Leather Helmet .

This helmet features a football shaped Schmelzer logo on the forehead area.

It is an adult sized helmet, fitting on my adult mannequin head with ease.

It does have a section of leather and lining missing on the left side, and has some other small holes present.

Despite its flaws it is still an attractive early helmet.
